How we approached this brief for Hardcase boxes

What we’ve been working on: We created this all-new, strong logo for Hardcase, a series of ultra-durable plastic, steel and aluminium toolboxes launching in the market. Launched into the market April 2014 and continues with other new items today. The bull was sketched out freehand before being workshopped further on screen. 

Why it matters: For many toolbox brands, ‘utilitarian’ seems to translate into ‘boring’ when compared on shelves. We wanted to convey a sense that this toolbox is tough enough for any job, while giving it some personality and making it stand apart from rival products. 

How this can help you: Watch this space to see packaging, marketing and other materials yes without giving away too much of the competitive edge, there will be more new products, new categories and new point of sale material for Hardcase and other brands designed by Funky Barramundi coming out from Hardcase.
