Why we love the Isole Eolie association

What we’re working on: A new logo and website for Associazione Isole Eolie, the Five Dock-based cultural association that celebrates Italian culture – especially for descendents of the jewel-like Eolian Islands near Sicily. We chose a traditional crest-like lockup that incorporates the region’s traditional seahorse symbol, a local map, and the Italian flag.

Why it matters: At Funky Barramundi, we’re big on supporting local business – and equally big on acknowledging our ethnic heritage. With a direct family link to the Eolian Islands, and some fond memories of travelling there, this was a project with more than a few personal ties. www.isoleeoliesydney.com.au
